Fullchance’s Air cell has impermeable fabric coated with compatible polymer and acts as the breather bag/ separator.

 

Our product specification covers the requirements of flexible separator (also known as Air cell or COPS bag) used as constant oil preservation system (COPS) in oil filled transformers to avoid mishaps and losses.

 

The Air Cell is placed inside the conservator. It compensates oil volume displacement due to temperature variation during operation. Fullchance’s AIR CELL has been specifically developed for fluid protection.

Test Method

Pressure Test:

The flexible separator shall be pressure tested for leakage by keeping it inflated continuously under pneumatic pressure at 0.105 kg/cm 2 (1.5 psi) for 24 hours. There shall not be any drop in the test pressure or leakage of air during the test. Air leakage can be visually checked by applying soap solution on the external surface of the inflated separator. Pressure test shall be conducted at ambient temperature.

 

Features

The rubber coating on external surface always remains in contact with transformer oil and hence is chemically oil resistant.

 

Internal rubber coating is resistant to degradations caused by solar, ozone and weathering effects as they remain in contact with atmospheric air.
