Viton Sponge is a closed cell formulation that is manufactured with a continuous skin on both sides. The skin makes the sheet stronger and more tear resistant. Even when the skin is punctured or cut Viton sponge will not allow the passage of air or fluid between the cells.
Key Features:
• Generally resistant to aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, oils and fuels.
• Generally resistant to ozone and weather.
• Generally resistant to lubricants, acids and hot water.
Temperature: -25ºC to + 204ºC. Note elevated temperatures whilst under compression will have an adverse effect on the resilience of Viton sponge.
